From humble beginnings, with fewer than ten children, the catechetical mission of our community has flourished. Year by year, it has grown to serve over 200 children from all corners of Wellington, offering them a steady foundation in faith through regular classes.
Our program spans from Kindergarten through Year 12, supported by a dedicated team of 25 teachers. The Catechesis calendar is thoughtfully aligned with New Zealand's school terms, starting in February and ending in December each year.
Throughout the year, the department arranges enriching activities such as Faith Fest and Holyween, designed not only to deepen the children's faith but also to make their journey enjoyable and engaging.
Through these efforts, the department strive to proclaim the faith to the next generation to hear, to believe, and to call upon the name of the Lord.
